FASHION ILLUSTRATIONS ARE A WAY OF ARTISTIC EXPRESSION

Here are some of my latest Fashion Illustrations in Indian Traditional theme, handwork on paper.

  1. ’The Blue Marine’ is the first set of illustrations inspired by designer Sabhyasachi Mukherjee’s works. The garments are designed using bright color pallete with beautifull intricrate work paired with heavy jewellery. The medium used are water-based colors and the embroidery is portrayed with white and golden gel pens.

2. ‘The Pastels’ collection is a combination of pastel shade and inticrate work which adds beauty to the whole collection. It consists of mainly thread work with minimum simple hand embroidered sequence work. The medium used for illustration are water colors and ink pen to highlight the embroidery

3. This illustration is very beautiful example of delicacy. The Birds motif defines nature inspired designing using all bright nature picked colors. Paired with royal chokar and a pearl long length neck piece and mangtika. Local water colors, gel pens are used.

4. ‘Parindey’celebrates young and carefree attitude to life. Light on weight, high on fashion quotient. Reinventing traditional Indian emroideries. Water colors are used.

5. The design is a combination of bold and inticrate designs. High neck blouses is paried with heavy chokhar,nose ring, mangtika and heavy long necklace. Water tube colors and a white pen are used to illustrate the garment.

6. Striped lehenga paired with organza duppatta and heavy stripes color matching broad borders. Steadlers ,water colors ,black and white gel pens are used.

7.”The Dressing Room” this a Princess theme illustration. An eye catchy fullness gown with floral net and a big satin bow is surely high on fashion. A dressing room is choosen as the background with Channel handbag, perfume, glairs, a lipstick shade and a vintage candle stand with dark blue valance curtains all of which adds up to the beauty of this illustration. Water based colors and gel pens used.

8. ‘Travel Diva’ is a Victorian theme inspired illustration. A high neck furr gown with black gloves, hat and red heels adds up to the look. The background consists of a couch, green plams leaves hand painted wall, a vinatage table and travel bags. Illustrated with water colors and gel pens

9.’Neeli’ a Saree shall always continue to reflect the needs and imagination of its wearer. One color theme is introduced to highlight the delicay of the print in different manners and motifs. Illustrated using tube colors.

10. ‘Royal Girl’ is a nature based illustration. The garment is a flowy light gown with shoulder emblishment of organza flowers. To complete the royal vintage attire a hat and gloves are paired up. An old wooden compound, a cherry blossom tree , a bird cage and a rabbit is painted as background. Water colors are used mainly.

11. ‘The Royal’ collection is mainly focused on the silhouette and the hand embroidered buttas. Turbans are paired to complete the royal look. Water based colored are used mostly.

12. This authentic Marwari attire is a blend of traditional and modern fashion. The neon green colors stands for forward Fashion Forecast. The lehenga has a gold print on kalis with a broad simple border. Local water colors are used to illustrate this garment alongwith gold and white pens.

13. ‘A Nature Walk’ illustration explains the ultimate beauty of nature. A black trail gown with organaza flowers and leaves and sheer fabric back complete the look. To complete the backgorund a brick wall and a cherry blossom paired with a matching umbrella are painted for color balance. Water colors used.

14. A striped saree paired with heavy hand embroidered velvet jacket is a blend of modern and trational fashion. Paired with heavy oxidized jewellery. Water colours, and colored gel pens are used.
